Sandbox is Northeastern's student-led software consultancy that aims to unleash the power of student-driven software. Not only do we engineer solutions to accelerate our clients' research, but we also develop in-house tools for the Northeastern community, such as SearchNEU and Khoury Office Hours.
You'll be part of a growing student organization specializing in software development and with a wealth of opportunities in leadership and project management. You'll join our community of talented and motivated members to make an impact for our clients and the broader Northeastern community.
There will be two rounds in this recruiting process: a take-home challenge and an interview. We will match you to the track that provides the best opportunity to showcase your skillset. We hope you learn and have fun during the recruiting process!

People are very caring and just great to get along with. Projects are challenging, but the opportunities you get to push yourself and develop features, that seem like a distant idea otherwise, are amazing. For me that was OAuth. Being able to learn authentication and create a system with working Google authentication was a goal of mine for a long time. I was very happy to be able to achieve that goal while also working on a project that benefited the community.
